Jennie Overfelt has been named the publisher and president of The LaGrange (Georgia) Daily News and The Valley Times-News and their affiliated print and digital publications.
Overfelt replaces Daniel Evans, who has accepted a position with a media company in Northwest Florida.
Overfelt has worked in the newspaper business for a total of 19 years, including serving in the advertising department for the LDN since 2016. She was promoted to the LDN’s advertising director in 2018 and has worked in that role since.
